Jimbino Vegan is a London-born musician, composer, and performer whose work blends jazz, folk, reggae, rap, punk and chanson traditions. His music is rooted in storytelling, humour, and a desire to bring people together through joyful and engaging performances that celebrate everyday life.
After dropping out of university, Jimbino joined a cycle circus and spent four years travelling overland from Spain to Thailand, campaigning against fossil fuels funding the whole journey by performing free shows for tips on the street along the way. He later lived and worked in New Orleans for six years, immersing himself in the city's rich musical culture before returning to the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Performing with The Jazz Cannibals, Jimbino plays clarinet, guitarlele, and tuba, creating original songs inspired by New Orleans jazz, social commentary, friendship, nature, and human connection. Through music, art, and performance, he continues to create spaces that uplift spirits, encourage participation, and celebrate the magic of this world.
