Drawings

Line and space are my main subjects. The use of handmade materials makes my works akin to poetry.

EN/This drawing shows St. Paul’s Cathedral, as seen from the café at the Tate Modern. While making it, I remembered a Colombian woman I met there, who proudly told me, ‘I’m going to stay here until the Queen kicks me out.’ That phrase, full of humor and perseverance, stayed with me as I sketched.
